| NOTES 1. Spore was collected in small sauce cups filled with Sunshine Mix #3 The cups enabled a micro climate within the cups. 2. The spore filled the cups with a good carpet of prothalia usually within a year 3. The prothalia that fertilized ite eggs begin growing sporelings 4. There is talk that sporelings emit a toxin to kill weaker sporelings so the stronger ones can grow stronger. For this reason the sporelings are moved to individual cups to grow without competition.
